Under the Ministry of Education, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be used for admission to all UG programs in all Central Universities for the academic year 2022-23. (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) would provide a common platform and equal possibilities to candidates from all across the country, particularly those from rural and other remote locations, and will aid in the development of greater connections with universities. Candidates would be able to cover a wide expanse and be a part of the admissions process to numerous Central Universities by taking a single examination.

There is no upper age limit for candidates taking the CUET (UG) - 2022. Candidates who have passed or are scheduled to take the class 12th/equivalent examination in 2022, regardless of their age, are eligible to take the CUET (UG) - 2022 test. Candidates must, however, meet the age requirements (if any) of the university(ies) to which they wish to apply. If you have cleared your 12th or are waiting for the result then you are eligible for this test. Now it’s mandatory for all the students who want to take admitted to Central University for graduation. Now, CUET has been made mandatory for the 45 central universities from the next academic year. But now your 12th mark will not matter and it will be based on your current test. It will also provide equal opportunity to students from different boards.
Note:
- For admission to universities through the CUET (UG) - 2022, the particular university's existing policies governing quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, and so on will apply.
- Candidates are recommended to consult the University website to which they are applying for their individual programs, since the qualifying conditions for admission may vary per university.
- Candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements of the university which they are seeking before submitting an application.
- A candidate's mere presence in the Entrance Test or passing the test does not allow him or her to be considered for admission to the Program unless he or she meets the University's Program-specific eligibility requirements.
The test will be held in Computer Based (CBT) mode. And the test paper will be Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates who are willing to appear for the examination can refer to the Information Bulletin for Admission in Graduation Central University (CU) programs desired for admission to undergraduate Programs.
The online application form for undergraduate programs will open on the 6th of April, can apply form through https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. candidates who want in order to appear for CUET (UG) – 2022 it is advised to go through the required eligibility of the desired to select options from the UG programs offered by the University/University. You can fill out the form online from 2nd April to 30th April. But the last date for online application date is 6th May 2022. You can fill out the application form from the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. The exam will be held in the 1st week of July 2022.
The exam will be divided into three sections based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Applicants will have to appear for the Languages paper under Sections I A and I B. Each section will have 50 questions out of which an applicant will have to attempt 40 each.
Section II will test the candidate's grip on the major subjects they wish to pursue at the graduation level. A candidate will have to attempt 40 questions out of 50 in the Section II paper which will also be of 45 minutes. Section III of CUET will be a common test for any undergraduate program or programs offered by universities where a common test is being used for admission instead of admitting students on the basis of their marks in domain subjects.
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The languages/subjects chosen should be the same as those chosen by the student in his/her latest class 12th Board Exam. If a university gives permission in this regard, the same can also be practiced under CUET (Common University Entrance Test-UG)-2022. Candidates should mention eligibility carefully.
In addition, if the subject to be studied in undergraduate courses is not available in the list of 27 domain-specific subjects, The candidate can select the subject closest to his/her choice, eg. Can be a candidate for Biochemistry choose Biology.
