Bachelor of Commerce is the full version of BCom. BCom is a three-year undergraduate degree in business administration. The BCom programme is aimed to teach students analytical abilities, financial literacy, and business acumen, among other things, by emphasising on the theoretical components.

In conjunction with the class of 2022 placement campaign, St. Xavier's College has awarded a BMS student a position for INR 30 lakh per year (LPA). Jobs were offered by a number of companies from a wide range of sectors, including banking, consulting, marketing, and finance. The pay has been enhanced by INR 2 lakhs to INR 4 lakhs for this year.
There was a 30 percent rise in the highest and average CTCs provided in 2020-21 when compared to the same period in 2019. Packages ranging from INR 15 LPA to INR 22 LPA were given out to the students. This year, about 650 students were placed in various positions.
A total of around 900 students enrolled in different courses took part in the placement drive for the year 2020, with the highest CTC of INR 21 LPA being offered by D.E., and the average CTC being INR 6 LPA being offered by other companies.
