Choice of Languages and Subjects: In general, a student should select the languages and subjects he opted for in his latest Class XII Board examination. There is, however, a possibility of extending this flexibility into CUET (UG) -2022 if any University allows it. Candidates must carefully refer to the qualifying standards of different Central Universities in this respect. Moreover, if the topic to be studied in the Undergraduate course is not accessible in the list of 27 Domain-Specific Subjects being given, the Candidate may pick the Subject closest to his preference e.g. For Biochemistry the applicant may pick Biology.

A candidate can take any Language/Domain Specific Subjects/General Test or combined. Choosing options from each Section is not mandatory. Choices should match the requirements of the desired University.

 

Language Test Subjects - Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, English, Odiya, Hindi, and Urdu

Optional Language Subjects - French, Spanish, Nepali, Persian, German, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Russian, Bodo, Dogri, Tibetan, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Chinese.
