The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), will be held for entrance to 54 central universities of India where someone's Class 12 grades would not be taken into account. The Computer Based Test (CBT) method will be used for the CUET (UG) 2022. The examination will be objective, with multiple-choice questions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is established by the Ministry of Education, MoE (Earlier known as Ministry of Human Resource Development - MHRD) as an independent/ autonomous, self-reliant, and self-sufficient premier testing organization.
In the academic session 2022-2023, the National Testing Agency will conduct the Undergraduate entrance tests for all the Central Universities (CUs). By enrolling in CUET, students will be able to apply to all Central Universities (CUs) in the country.
The duration of the CUET exam is two hours. Candidates will receive 5 mark for every correct attempt, and a 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect attempt. Some important details about the CUET Exam are:-

From 2.04.2022, online applications for undergraduate programs will be open on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. Applicants who wish to appear for CUET (UG) - 2022 may wish to review the eligibility requirements of the desired University/ Universities before choosing their program choices. Applications will be accepted between 02.04.2022 and 30.04.2022.

- Language: One's ability to understand, comprehend, and use vocabulary will be tested through questions based on passages, fundamentals of grammar, and comprehension questions. Examinants in the Comprehension section are evaluated on the basis of their ability to understand a passage and its central theme, meanings of words used, and so on. Correction of grammatical errors, the usage of appropriate words to fill in blanks, etc., comprise the Grammar section. One's command of English vocabulary will be tested through questions regarding synonyms & antonyms.

Numerical Ability: In the section on Numerical Ability, questions will be asked to assess the candidate's understanding of rudimentary arithmetic. Areas such as arithmetic, the number system, the fundamentals of algebra, and current mathematics will be important in answering these sorts of queries.
- Logical & Analytical Reasoning: This portion evaluates the candidate's ability to recognize patterns and logical connections, as well as to detect and correct illogical arguments. A variety of Logical Reasoning problems, such as those based on syllogisms, logical sequences, and analogies, as well as Analytical Reasoning questions based on series, directions, clocks and calendars, arrangements, and puzzles, are examples of what may be found in an SAT reasoning section.
- General Awareness and Current Affairs: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8).
