The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made several adjustments to the CUET UG Exam Pattern that will be used for the CUET 2022 Exam. These changes are effective immediately. Candidates for admission into different undergraduate programs who have been studying for the CUET 2022 Exam must review the most recent CUET Exam Pattern and practice for the entrance exam in accordance with the guidelines provided by the university.
CUET 2022 will be conducted in CBT (computer-based test) at the specific testing centers of the national testing agency where all the systems are conducted through a LAN (local area network). No internet medium will be used.

It should be noted that the marking method for CUET 2022 is the same for all three levels of study: undergraduate, integrated, and postgraduate. As a result, potential candidates should familiarise themselves with the CUET's grading structure. It is possible to ace the CUET test if you have a thorough grasp of the grading methodology. When candidates are aware that there is negative marking, they may prepare themselves appropriately for the test and exercise caution while taking the exam in order to prevent receiving negative marks.
The examination will be held over several days, with two slots per day as follows:

Note:
- The examination will be conducted in two or more slots on different days depending on the subjects/tests taken by the candidates.
- In Slot 1 which will be held in the morning shift, a candidate may take up to 4 tests only (One Language from Section IA, a maximum of two domain-specific Subjects from Section II, and One General Test from Section III)
- In Slot 2 which will be held in the afternoon shift, a candidate can take up to 5 tests as follows:
- One Language from Section IA & IB and a maximum of four domain-specific Subjects from Section II.
OR
- Two Languages from Section IA & IB and a maximum of three domain-specific Subjects from Section II.
4. Combining Slot 1 and Slot 2 together, a candidate may take a maximum of 09 Tests. The detailed Examination Schedule is given in Chapter 7.
