Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech. (Regular) programme must have completed their high school diplomas with a minimum of 60 percent in each of the following subjects: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
A bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, or computer science is required for admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry), Computer Science & Engineering, which requires candidates to have passed B.Sc. (H) in Physics with Mathematics as a general subject, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or computer science (C.U. current year) with physics, mathematics, or computer science as a general subject, or a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
Bachelor's degree in physics is required for admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) electrical engineering and instrumentation engineering.
An undergraduate degree in chemistry, mathematics, or physics with honours is required for consideration for admission to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Chemical Engineering programme.
As a condition of admission to the Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc. (Hons.)) in the relevant subject, applicants must have completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in the relevant field.
