Upon completion of this programme, students will have acquired comprehensive knowledge of disciplinary subjects in addition to allied subjects in the biological sciences. This knowledge will assist students in understanding and appreciating the diversity of life processes that exist throughout the world, including the evolution of those processes. The course will also educate students with the knowledge and abilities necessary to operate research equipment and computer tools such as genome analysis and meta genetics, as well as the ability to build comprehensive public health plans for social welfare.

As part of the calculation of the total marks according to Program-Specific combinations of themes used to determine merit and grant admissions to undergraduate programmes in the future, the applicant's marks earned in CUET 2022 will be taken into account. During the evaluation of an applicant's merit, only the 'combination of themes in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2022', as stipulated in the applicable Program-Specific Eligibility, will be taken into consideration.
