Having a well-structured Mathematical component in a Bachelor of Science (Prog.) Mathematical Sciences degree equips students with the ability to: Solve problems using a broad range of significant mathematical techniques such as calculus and algebra; geometry; analysis; numerical methods; differential equations; probability and statistics; and hands-on learning through CAS and LaTeX. One of the program's goals is to integrate the principles of physics and chemistry, as well as mathematics, in order to define the fundamental notions of the physical universe and to adapt these concepts to new scenarios in which they are applied. Learn how to work together with others to solve scientific problems and detect ethical challenges that arise in each field; logical question assertions and pattern recognition are also features of this course.
