Biochemistry is a part of dynamic science that studies the chemical processes that take place inside live creatures and systems. Biochemistry is the study of how all of the molecules that make up living beings interact in order to sustain and reproduce life. It examines the complexity of living beings, as well as the microscopic and macroscopic structures inside organisms that serve specialised purposes, and their energy extraction and transformation processes. This course is aimed to provide students with both theoretical and practical laboratory experience. Furthermore, the content of the course encourages students to acquire excellent observational skills as well as the capacity to evaluate and understand experimental data, preparing them for future jobs in higher education as well as work in industry and research agencies.
