Commerce is seen as a relationship between society and business, according to this view. With the passage of time, the nature and purpose of the contact between the two have undergone significant transformation. Information technology has reshaped the shape and design of business, resulting in a transformation of the organization's basic character as well as the underlying structure of society functioning. Recognizing the ramifications of this transformation, the B.Com. Program seeks to instil in students a thorough awareness of the operation and underlying principles of the corporate world. In order to do this, the curriculum provides students with the chance to learn about many elements of organisational functioning, financial systems, economic knowledge, laws regulating business, tactics employed by firms to reach out to the community, and so on. The curriculum also gives students with the chance to explore, experiment, and equip themselves to serve society not as job searchers, but as entrepreneurs and job creators, rather than as job seekers themselves.
