With the help of classical texts, this programme aims to familiarise students with the general outlines of Classical Sanskrit literature (poetry), help them form an accurate picture of great Sanskrit poet's works and appreciate the styles and thoughts of individual poets while focusing on the poetical, artistic, cultural and historical aspects of their works. This curriculum will help students improve their proficiency in chaste classical Sanskrit as well as their abilities in translating and interpreting poetry works.
Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate Admissions in University of Delhi
Minimum Eligibility:- The candidate must have passed the Class XII or its equivalent examination from a single recognized board.

The marks acquired by the applicant in CUET 2022 will be taken into consideration when calculating the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of topics for the purpose of determining merit and awarding admissions to undergraduate programmes in the future. Only the 'combination of topics in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2022', as specified in the relevant Program-Specific Eligibility, will be considered in determining a candidate's merit.

Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Merit will be based on the best CUET score obtained from any of the above-mentioned combinations of subjects
Candidates who opted for Combination IV for admission will be considered only if seats remain vacant after considering all the candidates who opted for Combination I/II/III
