Papers listed in List B1 and List B2 will be considered for Program-Specific Eligibility.

The marks acquired by the applicant in CUET 2022 will be taken into consideration when calculating the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of topics for the purpose of determining merit and awarding admissions to undergraduate programmes in the future. Only the 'combination of topics in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2022', as specified in the relevant Program-Specific Eligibility, will be considered in determining a candidate's merit.

The following subject combinations are required for candidates to appear in CUET:

Combination I:

Hindi from List A

Any two subjects from List B1

Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

Combination II:

Hindi from List A

SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

The best CUET score earned from any of the above-mentioned combinations of topics will be used to determine the merit position.

Note: Due to the fact that the importance of the CUET Regions is not the same, suitable proration will be performed.

Q. Do we have to give our preference for any University, while filling application form ?

A. No. You just have to indicate the name/s of the University/ies/Participating Institution/s that you intend applying. No need to give any preference

A. There is no such provision. The number of domain subjects that a candidate should select depends on the requirements of the desired University/ies for desired course/s. It depends solely on the requirements of the University for the desired course

Q. How many tests can a candidate apply for through CUET (UG) – 2022 ?

A. Maximum number of tests to be taken remains 9 only i.e. 2 Languages+6 Domain Specific Subjects+1 General Test OR 3 Languages+5 Domain Specific Subjects+1 General Test. For choosing any Section or/ and Subject(s) in any Section, a candidate is required to refer to the admission requirements of his/ her chosen University/ies.
