In the B.A. (Honours) French programme, students will learn the French language and culture through the development of four core skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They will also learn the language for specific purposes, such as business, tourism, translation, and so on. They will also study social and political institutions, literature, history, and cultural movements in France and Latin America. Each of these subjects will be studied in an interdisciplinary way to help students get an overall awareness of language's complexity and its cultural, historical, and professional specificities.
