The B.A. (Hons.) Economics programme provides a thorough foundation for much of the advanced thinking that takes place in the Economics field at the graduate level. Students will gain an understanding of the logic of family behaviour and relationships, as well as the behaviour and interactions of corporations and government entities. As electives from a selection of current relevance courses are offered, students have the option of preparing for jobs in academia, law, business, media, government and a wide range of other disciplines with the freedom provided by the curriculum. The Economics programme is in accordance with international norms in the field of economics. It provides instruction that is similar to that received by an undergraduate student at one of the world's most prestigious institutions.

As part of the calculation of the total marks according to Program-Specific combinations of themes used to determine merit and grant admissions to undergraduate programmes in the future, the applicant's marks earned in CUET 2022 will be taken into account. During the evaluation of an applicant's merit, only the 'combination of themes in which a candidate has appeared in CUET 2022', as stipulated in the applicable Program-Specific Eligibility, will be taken into consideration.
